Shiba Inu, Bitcoin, Dogecoin now accepted by world’s largest breast cancer charity

Susan G Komen, the world’s largest breast cancer charity organisation, will now accept cryptocurrencies in partnership with donation solution The Giving Block. The popular crypto charity platform offers a wide selection of digital assets, including meme coins as Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Dogelon Mars (ELON) as well as arcane cryptocurrencies such as Gala (GALA), Orchid (OXT) and Civic (CVC).

Crypto prices today: Bitcoin, Solana, Cardano rises

Bitcoin is currently trading higher by 1.5% at $50,743. Solana has jumped by 1.6% to $199.15. Meanwhile, Cardano and XRP are trading higher by 8.51% and 0.26%, respectively, over the last day. The global crypto market cap stands at $2.4 trillion, a 1.7% jump over the previous day

Binance to provide crypto-asset services in Bahrain

Binance has received in-principle approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) to establish itself as a crypto-asset service provider in the country. The company had applied for a license from the CBB as part of its plans to become a fully-regulated centralised cryptocurrency exchange. The move from CBB makes it the first regulator in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region to grant in-principle approval to a Binance entity.

SJM national meet demands outright ban on crypto transactions

On December 26, RSS-affiliate Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) passed a resolution demanding that the Centre completely ban buying, selling, investing, and dealing in cryptocurrencies by any person in India. The law relating to issuing of digital currency by the Reserve Bank of India should be framed “quickly” and the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) considered as legal tender, SJM said during its fifteenth national meet.

Shiba Inu was the most viewed crypto in 2021: CoinMarketCap

Inspired by a dog meme and posed as ‘Dogecoin killer’, SHIB was the most viewed crypto in 2021, beating the likes of Bitcoin and even Ethereum, announced price-tracking website CoinMarketCap. The Dogecoin spinoff recorded more than 188 million views during the last 12 months, while apex cryptocurrency Bitcoin came in second with 145 million views in 2021.
